New to me is Google Reader
Could it be that it’s a feeder?
Like an RSS thing-gummy
For a Web 2 point 0 dummy?
Ok, I am floundering. I subscribed to a couple of your blogs and now it's talking about sharing and friends. What's that all about. I learned how to share a document from Google docs, but it didn't say anything about friends.
(I know that you probably tried to teach me this in the RSS feed exploration but I am not too good at reading instructions.)

A-yup, Google Reader is the Google-Brand RSS Feed reader. Google also lets you create your own Google home page and add blog feeds there too (that's what I've done).
Everything in Web 2.0 wants you to have friends and share! It probably just wanted to give you the option to tell your friends about what fantastic blogs you are watching. You can probably just ignore it. :)
Thanks, orangerful. I did somehow set up igoogle, though I've resisted making it my home page, and it currently links to my blog and CNN. So it looks as though I could just add other blogs to that.
